What we collect

  • Account details: first name, surname, email address and a securely hashed password (we never see your password itself).
  • Health screening answers: the readiness questions you answer during onboarding, plus optional limitations, pain areas, age, height and weight. This is health-related information and is used only to shape your movement programme.
  • Programme data: your schedule, equipment, completed movements, feedback and progression history.

We do not run advertising, we do not sell or share your data, and there are no third-party analytics or tracking scripts in the app.

Where it is stored

If you use DeskStrength signed out, everything stays in your browser's local storage on that device. If you create an account, your programme is also stored in our managed cloud database so it can follow you between devices. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest by the database provider. Database access rules restrict every row to the account that owns it. This is not end-to-end encryption: the operators of the service and the hosting provider can technically access stored data.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your data or your account removes it from our database immediately; routine encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days before they expire.

Your choices

  • Export your full history as a file at any time from Settings.
  • Delete all of your DeskStrength data while keeping your sign-in.
  • Delete your account entirely, which also removes your profile and sign-in.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Manage all of this from Settings.
